Any law firm can ask to be considered for our medical malpractice lawyer lists. It is free, and the outcome depends only on our published methodology.
What we check
- Medical malpractice work: your own website shows that you handle medical malpractice cases, and for a niche list, cases in that niche
- A local presence: an office in the city or its metro area, or a clear statement that you represent clients there
- License and discipline: the state bar or law society record for the lawyers who handle these cases, where the directory is public
What we score
Verified firms are scored out of 100: focus on malpractice 25, results 20, client reviews 20, experience 15, standing 10 and recognition 10. The scoring rubric explains each factor.
What to send
- Your firm's name, website and the office addresses that serve the city
- The cities, and any niches, you want us to consider you for (for example birth injury or wrongful death)
- The page on your site that describes your medical malpractice work
- The names of the lawyers who handle these cases, and the bar or law society where each is licensed
- Links to any malpractice results you publish, and to any court record or news report that confirms them
- Whether you offer a free consultation and work on contingency, and the languages your team speaks
What happens next
We verify
We check what you send against your website and the public record.
We score
If you pass verification, we score your firm on the same rubric as every other firm.
We publish at the next update
If your score earns a place, you appear when the list is next refreshed. Lists are re-verified every quarter.
A request does not guarantee a place. If you are not listed and believe we got a fact wrong, send the correct fact to [email protected].
