AI Content Policy

In today’s media landscape, the emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) poses significant ethical questions for journalism, communications, and the broader field of information dissemination. For consumers engaging with various media forms – be it news, literature, music, or video – pinpointing the actual source of the content has become a complex task.

Our viewpoint is firmly against the use of AI for generating content, based on several crucial considerations:

  • Current AI technology, despite its appeal, is often prone to inaccuracies, rendering it unreliable.
  • There are numerous unresolved legal and ethical dilemmas related to the way AI synthesizes content, potentially involving the unauthorized use of both copyrighted and non-copyrighted materials.
  • The issue of inherent biases in AI-generated content is still a significant, unaddressed concern.

While we see some value in AI for specific uses, its role in our processes is very limited. 

Here is an overview of how we currently utilize and restrict the use of generative AI.

Any future adjustments to our AI policy will be openly shared and updated immediately.

The Personal Injury Center’s Approach to AI:

  • We do not publish AI-created visuals, including photographs, illustrations, and videos. Our image providers are aligned with this policy, and we commit to promptly removing any AI-created images if they appear on our site.
  • AI tools are part of our strategy to ensure our content is original and free from plagiarism.
  • We are considering the experimental use of generative AI for brainstorming, research, and data gathering to support editorial content written by humans, though we remain cautious about its actual utility.

We consistently inform our content creators about our policies on AI. Should any content creator violate these policies, such as by submitting AI-generated material, we will treat it as a serious infraction and take appropriate disciplinary action, up to possible termination.
