Maryland caps noneconomic damages for personal injury at $$500,000 for acts occurring on or after October 1, 1994, with a yearly increase of $15,000 per year. For acts occurring after October 2021, the cap is $845,000. For acts leading to wrongful death, the cap is multiplied by 150%.
